Print Project

For my printing project decided to make the Disney Land castle with the out line of Mickey Mouses head behind and over to the side. I chose this, because I really like Walt Disney he is one of my heroes because of his creativeness and fun personality. For this project we had to carve out our design on a linoleum block. after carving we would take the block and roll the ink of our choice on to it. then we would set it ink side first on to the paper press. When we took it off our design was would be printed in the colors that we chose. next if we had to print over the first one and cut out the parts we wanted to stay the first color. We had to print on six small papers and one large paper with four prints on it.

I thought it would be really cool if I didn't cut any thing out and print each one moved a little down and to the side so its slightly off and I divided to make mine a little more creative I added different colors and made one rainbow, two polka dot ,and the rest ombre.

I could only take pictures of five is the small papers, because my teacher took the sixth one for an art show/compitition.
